Concept
Hofmetzgerei Gollersbach
Concept for a country butcher: weekly counter, provenance and catering instead of a template site.

- 01
Starting point
The competition is the supermarket. A country butcher does not win on price but on provenance, craft and catering.
- 02
Goal
Show exactly those three strengths – and turn catering into an inquiry rather than a phone note.
- 03
Concept
The weekly counter on top, provenance in the middle, catering at the bottom with headcount and date. Opening hours always visible.
- 04
Design
Paper tones, oxblood red and dark brown. A sturdy serif that recalls a good menu, not a butcher template.
- 05
Build
Weekly offers designed as an editable area so the owner can change them. Catering inquiry with headcount and preferred date.
- 06
Design goal
the difference from a supermarket counter should be visible before anyone reads a word.
What was built
- Brand concept and colour world

Three decisions
The counter first
What is in the counter this week is the actual reason to visit. That belongs at the top, not on a subpage.
Provenance with names
“Regional quality” says nothing. The name of the farm and the distance in kilometres say everything.
Catering as a form
A catering inquiry always needs the same three details. Asking for them saves both sides two phone calls.
