Concept
Hain & Halm
Concept for a landscaping company: projects, process and maintenance – imagery instead of walls of text.

- 01
Starting point
Landscaping is a high-value trust purchase. The decision is made on imagery – yet most sites show a service list.
- 02
Goal
Put finished work front and centre while explaining how a project runs and roughly what it costs.
- 03
Concept
Two layers: imagery with projects on top, the sober part underneath – a four-step process, maintenance plans, directions.
- 04
Design
Off-white, deep green and stone grey. A display serif for headlines so the page does not read like a DIY-store flyer.
- 05
Build
A project sequence with differently sized cells so the eye gets an order. Inquiries with photo upload, because clients want to send pictures of their garden.
- 06
Design goal
within thirty seconds it should be clear what level the company delivers and what the next step is.

Three decisions
Uneven cells
A uniform grid reads like a catalogue. Differently sized cells guide the eye to the strongest piece.
Name a price range
No company likes quoting prices. A range per project type filters out exactly the inquiries that were never a fit.
Maintenance as its own offer
New builds bring revenue, maintenance brings recurrence. Both belong on the page.
